We have been collecting info on the Athens climbing scene for the past decade. We have names, locations, grades and some first ascentionist information for about 350 Athens County boulder problems and routes. We have chosen this form of free media to share this knowledge. We have never held back the info, but usually only shared it by word of mouth to those who asked. This prevous method to transfer knowledge was chosen so that we could try to instill the ethics and principles that we have for our beloved climbing locations. Now, with the increased traffic and people climbing in athens we have decideed to take a more proactive step.
